I spent months working with photographer Sim Chi Yin to edit this short documentary with footage she had shot over three years. She tells the compelling story of He Quanqui, a former goldminer suffering from China’s most prevalent occupational disease—silicosis. This moving love story shows the dedication of his wife, and his overwhelming desire to stay alive, fighting this painful disease with each breath.
